Lichttoren:
The Lichttoren is one of the most characteristic buildings of Eindhoven. The Lichttoren was built by Philips between 1909 and 1921 as a factory for the production of incandescent lamps. Much later the head office of the Light Division is located in the building. After a thorough renovation, the building was transformed into living space. The Lichttoren has a spacious central entrance, which can be reached via 2 entrances (Mathildelaan and Lichtplein). On the first floor you will find the doorbells (videophone) and mailboxes. The loft is located on the 4th floor:
As soon as you step out of the elevator you will immediately see the modern and warm appearance due to the combination of the concrete construction, cast floor and wooden walls on both sides.

Entrance:
The loft is approximately 152m2 and consists of one large room, in which the industrial character is preserved. The way the kitchen and bathroom are placed in the space create different angles, which give atmosphere and privacy. Comfort is guaranteed by good insulation and the presence of both underfloor heating and floor cooling.

If you step inside the loft you will immediately see the playful separation that is made by the open kitchen with milk glass on the back. The glass is semi-transparent, so there is natural light in the entrance. And through the glass you have a first view into the kitchen and living room. On the left is the guest toilet, on the right is the checkroom and you continue to the living area.

Living area:
From the entrance you reach the spacious and bright living room with large windows. This is the central place in the house. The windows face south and offer an unobstructed view of the Lichtplein. What is striking is the space and the warm appearance, which is created by the use of wood next to the industrial materials such as glass and concrete. The entire loft is equipped with a sturdy cast floor.

Kitchen:
The kitchen is open, but still in a separate room. The floor, walls and ceiling are made of wood. The handleless kitchen has ample storage space and is completed with the following appliances: 5-burner gas hob, stainless steel re-circulation hood, coffee maker, oven, freezer, refrigerator and dishwasher.
A fine detail is the extended worktop of the kitchen island. This not only provides extra work space but is also the perfect place to hang out for the morning coffee or late afternoon drinks.

Storage / technical room:
Behind the kitchen is a practical, indoor storage room. The room has the arrangement of the underfloor heating and cooling, the WTW installation and the connection for your washing equipment.

Dining area:
The dining area is located near the loggia and offers ample space for placing a very spacious dining table. Through the glass facade to the loggia is again a lot of light.
